The cults of relativity: finding Einstein, Twain and a universe beyond E
L & R Pub, 2008 - 193 Seiten
Have you ever wanted someone to explain the Theory of Relativity to you in a way that's honest and easy to understand? The Cults of Relativity does just that, playfully explaining parallel universes, the warping of time and how Einstein derived E=mc2. Then it blasts off into the deep unknown. From there, you'll look back to see a world where some cults gather to worship statistics, while others worship a remarkable prophecy called Cem. And your guides for this journey? Albert Einstein, Mark Twain and an impressive list of physicists, physicians, philosophers...and liars. The Cults of Relativity presents a new view of our universe and is a must-read for those wishing to explore the outer edges of science.

The only reason I read this book is that is was a gift. But what a gift. This book is perfect for those who want to explore Dark Energy, Quantum Me4chanics and relativity. BUT, more that that it explores the medical utopia that practically every politician loves to promise. It explores herbal medicine. It uses the wisdom of Mark Twain and Albert Einstein to show the shortcomings of the FDA and Big Pharmaceuticals. So much more, I will have to read it again.A direct quote from the book seems it sum it up: A novice might grasp what experts believe is unattainable.

The Cults of Relativity – Finding Einstein, Twain and a Universe Beyond E = mc2, presents you with a whole new view of our universe and challenges everything we have learned in the past. For anyone wishing to have the Theory of Relativity explained with a down-to-earth, honest approach – this could be the book for you. As a warm-up for appreciating Relativity, the first chapter of Cults will show you why Mark Twain and Albert Einstein mistrusted statistics. You will leave this chapter understanding the Twain and Einstein mindset, and why statistics cause havoc with government policies and medicine. Under the guidance of Albert Einstein and with the help of Mark Twain, Cults goes on to explain parallel universes, the warping of time, and many other aspects of Relativity. Finally, Cults jumps deep into the new discovery of dark energy, and explains why dark energy is so confounding for so many scientists. direct quote from this captivating book seems to sum it up: “A novice might grasp what experts believe is unattainable.”
